Water Polo

Texas Longhorn Aquatics Water Polo is one of the premier youth clubs in the state of Texas, and one of a kind in Austin. Founded in 2012, the program has always valued sportsmanship and teamwork above all else in their pursuit of aquatic excellence.

Longhorn Novice

Age Requirement: 6-12 years of age

Skill Requirements: Program aimed at developing water polo fundamentals for athletes that are new to the sport.


Longhorn White

Age Requirement: 11-18 years of age

Skill Requirements: All-purpose program for beginning to experienced water polo players looking to improve in all facets of the sport. In addition to regular practices on Mondays and Wednesdays, athletes are eligible for informal scrimmages and USA Water Polo tournaments. 


Longhorn Orange

Age Requirement: 11-18 years of age

Skill Requirements: Designed for athletes planning to compete at the Junior Olympic tournament held at the end of July each year. Orange members will focus on more advanced and team oriented skills in preparation for tournament competition. In addition to regular practices, athletes are eligible for informal scrimmages and USA Water Polo tournaments. 


Masters Water Polo

Age Requirement: 18+ years of age

Skill Requirements: Beginning to experienced athletes welcome. A versatile practice that involves basic technique work, team concepts and scrimmages. 


College Water Polo

This program runs during the university’s summer and winter breaks and serves former Longhorn Aquatics members who want to continue training when their teams are not holding regular practices.
